Mrs. Hannah Ross, the mother of the late Col. James R. Ross, died at 4 o’clock this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lizzie Wheeler, 1222 East 10th Street with whom she has always lived. On the 21st of September, Mrs. Ross was struck by a Central Avenue car and severely injured. She was taken to City Hospital, where she remained for several weeks before it was possible to remover her to her home. Her death is due to the injuries received at that time. Mrs. Ross was born at Bellefontaine, Ohio 82 years ago. Early in life she was married to Thomas J.T. Ross and moved to Crawfordsville, where her husband was a cabinet maker and undertaker.  Mr. Ross died 9 years ago. 23 years ago they moved to this city which has since been her home. Besides the daughter with whom she lived two sons and one daughter survive: RC and Aaron Ross of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Laura V. Wright of Huntington. The arrangements for the funeral have not been made. Burial will be at Crawfordsville. -kz

Mrs. Hannah Ross, mother of the late Col. James R. Ross, who was struck by a Central Avenue street car and severly injured several weeks ago died yesterday morning from the injuries received at that time.  After remaining in the hospital for several weeks she was removed to the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lizzie Wheeler, 1222 E. 10th street where she died. Mrs. Ross was 82 years of age and was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio. She was married to Thomas JT Ross when quite young and they moved to Crawfordsville where they lived until 23 years ago removed then to this city. Her husband died about 9 years ago. The burial will be at Crawfordsville where her two sons, RC and Aaron Ross reside. She also leave a daughter, Mrs. Laura V. Wright of Huntington.
